What one MINIMIST couple captured themselves.

I gave one groom a bag of GoPro’s and a crash course on how to use them before the couple headed out on a cross-country road trip to their destination wedding location. They actually captured 32 seconds worth of footage that ended up in their Feature Film. Not all couples are as hands-on as these two were but I love getting the opportunity to show others how much fun making a film can be.

Bachelor/ette

We can make any gathering or event into a custom side session. Girls night out or bachelorette? We’ve got you. Salon day? Bridal Barre? Bachelor party? Fishing? Go kart racing? Hot air ballon flying? Road tripping? Seriously, we are here for all of it and can’t wait to hear your ideas for your own side session.

Special family moments.

During pre-production on Ashley + Geoff, I learned that they would be using the same "Just Married" sign that had hung on Ashley’s parents' car 40 years earlier. This was too good to leave out of their story. I pitched her the idea of doing a side session interview with her parents to see the sign and chat with them about it.

While there, I learned that all the girls in their family had been using the seeds from her great grandmother's wedding bouquet that was only found years after she had passed. I had never seen these kinds of family traditions and I had to include them in their films. These side sessions allowed me to tie all the pieces together in such a personal way.
